Our new nursery opened officially on Monday
3rd October 2005 with only 6 children attending regularly.
In one year we have boosted our roll to 42 and counting.
For Children in Need 2005 we raised £335
by wearing our pyjamas and enjoying a teddy bears picnic
in the Nursery.
In December 2006 we were awarded the Norfolk
Child Protection Certificate for our sound practices
We are currently undertaking
the Norfolk Quality Assurance
Scheme. We are developing our front play area, where the
children can sit and be amidst plants, 'animals' and landmarks
representing the continents of the world.
With the success
of Forest School, we are planning to redevelop the area to
the rear of the Nursery. Here the children will be able to
explore nature in its purest form. We are also planning to
develop the ground next to the side play area, where the
children may grow vegetables of their choice.
We received
a glowing Ofsted Report in March 2006 naming the Nursery "...vibrant,
colourful and stimulating..." and the children "... keen,
confident and eager to attend."To

The Oaks Montessori Nursery School now offers
a £5 reduction on the enrolment fee, and a 5% reduction
in childcare fees for a second child. An advance payment
of 3 months’ fees will also attract a 5% discount.
